Modest Mouse drummer Jeremiah Green has died of cancer at the age of 45.

American musician Jeremiah Green, known as the founding member and drummer of the indie rock band Modest Mouse, passed away after just falling into treatment for level 4 cancer.

Jeremian Greem began his touring and recording career while in high school. In the mid-1990s, Green played with Satisfact on K Records, Red Stars Theory on Touch and Go Records, and Peeved on Distressed Records. Green also played with a band called The Vells, as well as another band called Psychic Emperor. Both bands played at venues around Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.
